Jonathan Glidden, CFA^® | Managing Director – Pension Investments & Chief Investment Officer | Delta Air Lines
Jonathan (Jon) Glidden is Managing Director of Pension Investments at Delta Air Lines, where he oversees the strategy, asset allocation, alpha generation, and risk management across Delta’s defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans.

Prior to joining Delta in 2011, Jon was Director of Manager Research at Wilmington Trust, where he constructed multi-manager portfolios across traditional and alternative asset classes and served on the firm's Investment Strategy Team. Previously, he spent six years with the Emory University Endowment Fund, most recently as Director of Investment Analysis, sourcing and evaluating global equity, fixed income, and hedge fund managers. Jon began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy, serving as the Tomahawk Missile Officer on USS Stout (DDG-55) and the Weapons and Boarding Officer on USS Firebolt (PC-10).

Jon holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA from Emory University, and a Master’s in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago. He serves on the boards of the Committee on the Investment of Employee Benefit Assets (CIEBA) and the Georgia Tech Center for Finance and Technology. Jon is a CFA^® charterholder.
