Richard Herbert, CFA, Head of Investor Relations, Franklin Equity, Franklin Advisors, Inc | Richard Herbert is the head of Investor Relations for Franklin Venture Partners (FVP), the firm's specialized investment team that invests in private opportunities, focusing on mid- and late-stage companies it believes are poised for transformative impacts across multiple industries. Prior to joining FVP, Richard was a Vice President and Institutional Portfolio Manager responsible for the Templeton Global Macro Strategies at Franklin Templeton.

Mr. Herbert joined Franklin Templeton in 2011. Prior to starting his career in finance, he earned a bachelor's degree in business finance, economics, and statistics from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses.
