Alec Castellanos, Vice President, is a member of the BlackRock Investment Stewardship COO Team and is responsible for the global operations of BlackRock's voting and engagement program. In addition, he helped design and deploy the firm’s Voting Choice offering, and oversees the global implementation of Voting Choice for BlackRock clients who select and alternative approach to proxy voting on behalf of their investments. Prior to joining BlackRock, Alec managed client policy implementation and consulting at the proxy advisor Glass Lewis & Co.

Michael Sneddon, Director, is the Voting Choice Strategy lead on the BlackRock Investment Stewardship COO Team.  He was responsible for leading the efforts in deploying BlackRock’s initial Voting Choice offering earlier this year.  Michael started his career at BlackRock 14 years ago and spent his first 10 years in BlackRock Solutions external Aladdin business.  Prior to his current role, he was on a team that focused on delivering strategic change initiatives for the firm.
