Ethical Decision Making: Introduction webinar is an interactive, case-based webinar led by CFA Institute staff that provide participants with the framework to analyze situations from an ethics perspective. The 60-minute session introduces the CFA Institute Ethical Decision-Making Framework and takes you step-by-step through how to apply it. It also includes

an examination of the factors that lead well-meaning individuals to make unethical decisions,
an explanation of how to apply a framework for the analysis of ethical dilemmas common in investment practice,
several case studies involving real-life situations with the opportunity to vote on the appropriate conduct,
a facilitated discussion of those studies that allow participants to apply ethical framework.

Paul R. Johnson is Manager and Special Investigator for Professional Conduct – Enforcement at CFA Institute. His responsibilities include investigating potential violations of the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct and he has recently authored several ethics articles. Johnson holds a JD degree.

Jon Stokes is the Director of Ethics and Standards Education at CFA Institute. His responsibilities include the design and creation of online ethics education, development and maintenance of the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, and the design and management of the CFA Institute Ethical.
