Emmanuel Aidoo is a director and the head of emerging technology in the global markets division at Credit Suisse. He is responsible for coming up with and executing the bank’s blockchain and cryptocurrency strategy. He spoke on a panel at the TABB Group’s recent MarketTech conference in New York about blockchain initiatives currently in production and how fast he sees adoption picking up across the financial services industry.

Having worked close to two decades at Credit Suisse, Aidoo has held various senior roles, including global head of debt capital markets technology and global head of leveraged finance technology. He has spent the past two-plus years spearheading the bank’s blockchain practice.

Brian Sewell is Founder and CEO of The American Bitcoin Academy, the thought leader in cryptocurrency education. Mr. Sewell is a serial entrepreneur who has owned several companies in the technology, energy and manufacturing industries. Mr. Sewell is also a former executive with World Savings & Loan, a Fortune 500 company that was purchased by Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC). His passion for entrepreneurship and learning from the best leaders in the world also led him to host of the internationally acclaimed entrepreneurial radio broadcast, “The Brian Sewell Show.” He has previously managed more than $1.1 Billion in assets and is recognized for his fiscal, strategic, and operational vision and leadership. Mr. Sewell received his education from Dixie University, Johns Hopkins University and Stanford. 

Paul Condra joined Credit Suisse in 2015 responsible for coverage of the payments and financial technology industry. He previously covered the sector at BMO Capital Markets since 2014. He joined BMO in 2008 helping to cover the business services industry. Prior to joining BMO, he helped to co-found a research firm that provided services to the real estate and legal industries. He holds an MBA from Baruch/Zicklin School of Business and a BA in International Studies from the University of Washington.

Kell is co-founder of Verady, the cryptocurrency accounting and audit technology company. At Verady, Kell leads product direction and business development efforts. Prior to Verady, Kell started Coinpliance in 2013 to advance regulatory innovation in Bitcoin. Before Coinpliance, he co-founded multiple Fintech startups including a market leading real-time credit and risk assessment company that was acquired into Fair Isaac Corporation. Kell holds a BS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
