Each participant will receive the book and the program will be followed by a networking cocktail reception included in the registration fee.  

Career Strengths Workshop | An opportunity to spend time identifying and exploring your Signature Strengths.  

Using the curriculum of the widely acclaimed Strengths Finder 2.0 program from the Gallup Organization,  participants will have the opportunity to learn about  their individual strengths profile;  what unique talents and strengths they bring to their workplaces, teams, and the world at large. 

Participants will complete assessments ahead of time to identify their signature strengths, and during the workshop discuss ways to maximize these strengths and talents as part of a strategy to achieve career growth and satisfaction.

The workshop will be conducted by Maureen Corcoran who is a Gallup Strengths  Coach, and recently completed a Certificate program in Positive Psychology, the study of what helps people flourish.  She will incorporate both elements into her discussion.

Maureen’s career of over 30 years in Financial Services has provided a wealth of experience to share with participants. She was an Executive Vice President at State Street Bank in Boston for 24 years, and held numerous executive leadership positions in Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Strategy Development, Client Service, Capital Markets and Operations Management. She began her career as a CPA with PwC in Hartford Ct and Hamilton, Bermuda, and served as the Director Auditing for the John Hancock Property and Casualty Group. Her passion has always been helping people reach their potential.   

Maureen is a Director of the Farm Credit Funding Corporation, and the Leadership Programs Director for the Cannonball Foundation, a non profit  that improves educational opportunities and outcomes for student athletes in the sport of baseball. She is a graduate of Providence College, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees.
